You remember a time when feeling overwhelmed by work and household demands, feeling distracted easily, and struggling to finish tasks on your to-do list weren't the "norm"... but those days feel like a distant memory. Don't you wish you had the tools to change that?
I'm Johanna and I help adults with anxiety and ADHD symptoms just like you: ones that have it within them to be more self-assured and focused, but just need the support to get there. I help my clients find self-confidence, productivity, and fulfillment by equipping them with the tools they need to understand how their brain works and how to create a life that works for them.
Many of today's solutions for adults with anxiety and ADHD symptoms are one-size-fits-all, leading so many to feel unsure of how or where to implement strategies into their busy lifestyles. I know that your circumstances are unique, so every step we take is tailored to you, your specific needs, and your life demands.
First, we will examine the aspects of your life that are causing stress and how you think about these stressors and yourself. Then, we will work on creating change in your life by adding and adjusting behaviors and coping skills that will be most effective for you.
Through our work together, you'll be armed with the skills and confidence you need to navigate your busy life in a way that makes you feel proud.
My training in clinical psychology and my years of experience working with adults with ADHD and anxiety means I have the expertise you need and deserve when learning about yourself and your needs. But at the end of the day, you want to know you're working with someone who "gets" what it means to be an adult struggling to get things done and overanalyzing every moment of the day, right?
I get it because I have devoted my career to working with adults with anxiety and ADHD. I have worked with a wide range of adults with different life experiences: college students with test anxiety, graduate students with undiagnosed ADHD, early career adults navigating work pressures and creating balance in relationships, new parents working to find ways to get everything done in a day, and many more. I know that you want to quiet your mind and finish all of your to-do tasks. So when we work together, you won't just get a trained therapist. You'll get someone who truly understands what you're going through.
